I don’t want to write today.
I don’t want to feel right now.
I don’t want to think right now
I just want to rest in your arms.
I just want to hear encouragement.
I just want to listen.
I just want to read.
I want to stop it all and check out.
Surprisingly I can work, you know, get task done, almost robotic which I hate, but hey I’m just blah and would rather just rest in your arms.
Your arms of love and affirmation.
Your arms of security and protection
Your arms of comfort and healing
Your arms of joy and never ending love
I don’t want to write today but here I am writing
